billsgpr88 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Don't want to be presumptuous, but I think this guy's gonna be in for a rude awakening On watching tape of Darrelle Revis: "I mean, I don't think it's necessary," Smith said. "Maybe I will, maybe I won't. You pretty much get the idea of what kind of player he is based on his reputation."
l< j Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 How ironic is it that Revis probably feels that it is more important that he watch tape of Geno than vice versa.
MattM Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 How ironic is it that Revis probably feels that it is more important that he watch tape of Geno than vice versa. Post of the day right there--that's something that helps separate winners from losers in the NFL right there....
Big Turk Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Lol, a bust in the making...poor work ethic and lack of preparation make physical talent irrelevant
prissythecat Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 A lot of folks here clamored for the Bills to draft Geno though. Maybe he will surprise us and actually look good lol.
ChasBB Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Post of the day right there--that's something that helps separate winners from losers in the NFL right there.... +1
Big Turk Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 My high school biology teacher used to preach the 5P's to us: Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance... Geno needs to learn that pretty quickly

I thought this was interesting as well Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 20h As I said on GameDay Season Preview: #Jets early impressions of Geno Smith at Combine meeting: Lethargic, disinterested, tired. Big Turk Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Mr. Roland by any chance? You know it!! Loved that guy...favorite teacher ever...demanded a lot of you but made learning fun... Had him for biology and AP Bio where over half the class got a "5" on the test(including me), which is a huge accomplishment for a college level class...
nucci Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 He needs to watch film of Tampa's defense, not necessarily of Revis. Not a big deal to me.
Clippers of Nfl Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I dont watch college. He was projected pick number one at one point. Then kept slipping. Since I wanted a qb with first pick, I would have been ok with him. But so far I think the bills got it right with Ej. Geno smith had 3 ints in one game. Yuck.

What kind of leader does that? If the Jets struggle (which breaking news, they will) how will he handle the adversity? he says he has learned, but me thinks he was coached up on the 2nd meeting to improve his stock
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Anyone hear what Revis said about Geno? Wondering why Geno isn't studying him.
Big Turk Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Anyone hear what Revis said about Geno? Wondering why Geno isn't studying him. Yeah Revis said "Who's that?" when asked about Geno, lol
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 My high school biology teacher used to preach the 5P's to us: Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance... Geno needs to learn that pretty quickly I learnt it as 6 P's There was an adjective to Poor Performance
run dat back Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 There's no quicker way to lose the respect of your teammates than poor work ethic and attitude.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Winning cures all. If this guy plays well and they win, he'll be a poster boy for a great QB. If he fails, the bad attitude stuff will be the storyline.

It would be better investment of Geno's time to watch Tampa game tape and see what looks that defense will give him. Not sure what to make of this statement.
