papazoid Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Five Reasons Tom Brady and the New England Patriots Can't Beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 http://sports.yahoo....00719--nfl.html
NoSaint Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 wont lie, not a fan of yahoo letting anyone and everyone write for them these days.
WickedGame Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 The title of this thread should be changed to "Random Bills Fan: 5 Reasons the *Pats Can't Beat the Bills Week 1." It's misleading to imply Yahoo says the *Pats can't beat the Bills.
KD in CA Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 wont lie, not a fan of yahoo letting anyone and everyone write for them these days. Why pay writers when you can just post whatever crap some bored, unemployed guy wrote while sitting at Starbucks. Why pay actors or writers when you can throw a half-dozen idiots in a room, have them do nothing and call it 'reality TV'.

Dorkington Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Jesus, what a train wreck of an article.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 This type of hubris disturbs me (even if it was done tongue-in-cheek and not written by anyone from Yahoo Sports, just a fan).
DC Tom Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Why pay writers when you can just post whatever crap some bored, unemployed guy wrote while sitting at Starbucks. Why pay actors or writers when you can throw a half-dozen idiots in a room, have them do nothing and call it 'reality TV'. Or you can combine them - buy whatever scripts some bored, unemployed guy wrote while sitting at Starbucks, throw a half-dozen idiots in a room with the scripts, and call it the CW network.
Drop Kick Flutie Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I like this one from the comments better: My five reasons the Patriots can`t beat Buffalo:1 Football is banned worldwide! 2 The New England Patriots are taken hostage by Al Quida! 3 The planet explodes! 4 Aaron Hernandez breaks out of jail and kills all the Patriots 5 The Patriots and Jets trade uniforms!
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Or you can combine them - buy whatever scripts some bored, unemployed guy wrote while sitting at Starbucks, throw a half-dozen idiots in a room with the scripts, and call it the CW network. Is that the Chan Wanny network I been hearing about?
Kemp2Warlick Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 What a bunch of cynical bastids you all are...The guy who wrote that is a Bills fan. He wrote a positive article about what he thought the Bills chances are this weekend.... sheesh..what a bunch of negative goofballs.
RussellDopeland Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 When did Yahoo start posting articles from bleacherreport.com?
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Yahoo has a couple good writers. Shame that their good stuff is being watered down with this stuff. More money in quantity than quality I guess

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I like the optimism if nothing else CJ Spiller
run dat back Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 wont lie, not a fan of yahoo letting anyone and everyone write for them these days. Agreed. The "contributor network" articles I've read (mostly about baseball) have mostly been written by unabashed homers with rosy-colored specs clouding their vision.
hondo in seattle Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Why pay writers when you can just post whatever crap some bored, unemployed guy wrote while sitting at Starbucks. Why pay actors or writers when you can throw a half-dozen idiots in a room, have them do nothing and call it 'reality TV'. The author of the piece is a lawyer sitting at Starucks. Not sure that makes any difference - but thought it should be pointed out. From this and his previous contributions, it's clear that he's a Bills fan so he's okay with me even if I can't digest all his logic.
Campy Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Oddly enough, I don't disagree with the author. I wouldn't be stunned if they lose, but I do sorta expect the Bills to come out and light them up. (Of course, I'm a fan, so I think that before the opener every season!) Go Bills!
Bufcomments Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Both C.J. and Freddie will have big games vs The Paties. That's the only way I see them winning. Seriously
CardinalScotts Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 wont lie, not a fan of yahoo letting anyone and everyone write for them these days. not related to the article of the post ... yahoo has some of the best NFL writers on anyone they pay attention to the league not just the teams that make the needle move (espn)
