NoSaint Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Just for fun: So, we trust DRock and MattSabuda more then Sal? Quick, back pedal! Oh, ok, Mke Sabuda must know something, he was an intern once. So did Damond break the story before even the bills or Leonard knew? Impressive.
bobblehead Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I'd trust Da'Rick before I'd trust D'Rock on this.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Brings some needed experience to the backfield. He also played in Pettine's defense. Might allow them to move A. Williams to corner while Gilmore is out. Allow? No no. No no no. That experiment was tried, done, over
bills1960 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 They must think Byrd won't be ready to go.
papazoid Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 (edited) he's at one bills drive and expected to sign Edited September 2, 2013 by papazoid
Donald Duck Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 So did Damond break the story before even the bills or Leonard knew? Impressive. Buffalo Bills @buffalobills3m Marrone: S Jim Leonhard is in the building and is taking a physical. Expected to join the #Bills.
NickelCity Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I would welcome Leonard back. This would be a good signing. A vet with a disciplined playing style and a nose for the ball, even if he has lost a step, would be good for our defensive backfield, especially if Byrd misses time.
BigPappy Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Per a Bills Mobil Text, it is confirmed that Jim L. is in Buffalo and expected to sign according to Coach Marrone. BigPappy
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 They did bring him in for a look a couple of months back too, right? I thought that was last year. He gimped in with his knee wrapped up rehabbing his torn patellar tendon, didn't get the offer he wanted, and moved on to Denver where he signed for a year and played, I think, 1 game. He didn't last out the season in 2010 and 2011 with the Jets. Uncertain if it would make sense or not, other than in the "we need 2 more bodies" context
bobblehead Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Ok, forget Da'Rick, perhaps D'Rock was right.
Amstel Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 According to Chris Brown Leonhard is in the bldg. taking a physical and is expected to sign
Kevin Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Less leverage for Byrd provided the safeties play well. Maybe this is the end for Byrd? Trade?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 According to Matt Sabuda, he has the inside scoop from a well placed source....sorry for not linking the link, I'm on my mobile and it's a pain. https://mobile.twitter.com/MattSabuda sure, he was good for the jets but I think time might be catching up.
Nostradumbass Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Now it makes sense why we cut George Wilson.... Idiot @##&*@ franchise
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Some of you guys are just bi polar. When we release players and they do good on other teams, you say why did we ever let them walk. But when they come back you say, they better be coming back as a coach. Leonard can still play and how could you not want Leonard over Aaron Williams and Duke Williams and any other safety we have besides Byrd? I swear, some of you Bills fans man...
26CornerBlitz Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Now it makes sense why we cut George Wilson.... Idiot @##&*@ franchise George Wilson was JAG. Jim Leonhard is a heady player who knows Pettine's system from his days with the Jets.

While I totally agree with you, when did we give up on A.Williams the safety??
