BuffaloBill
Today there seems to be a common belief that all it takes to be successful is hard work. Is it a key element of success? Obviously, yes. Is it the only one? Obviously no. The Bills have suffered a decade or more of fail due to poor front office management, poor drafting and coaching schemes that were not successful. Look at the Steelers there is a reason why they have won more Lombardi trophies and played at a higher level as compared to the Bills. It is not simply due to harder work. They have a strategy, schemes, scouting and players that all work together better. Looking at the last regime of the Bills there were two obvious problems. One is they out their trust in a QB who ultimately could not deliver at an excellent level. Second, the defensive schemes flat out sucked as measured by results. The new regime has attempted to get a new QB and clearly has changed the defensive philosophy. Time will tell if it works.
