Alaska Darin Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Great. Marrone's just using Jauron's playbook. Figures.
Best Player Available Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Looks like someone leaked our playbook. After studying these plays in great detail. It's obvious the punt was shanked. What's up with that? Play A is most likely the real deal for game 1.
sodbuster Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Isn't play A exactly what we were begging for last year? Edited August 28, 2013 by sodbuster
reddogblitz Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Play B would work well if we had Anquan Boldin and Calvin Johnson and Sidney Rice.
Just in Atlanta Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Observations: I like Plan A. There appears to be no linebacker or corner covering the area where CJ is running. Plan B would be an improvement from Fitz, who couldn't throw it more than 15 yards, or Edwards, who refused to throw it more than 15 yards. As for Plan C, two points: Powell appears to have not only shanked the ball but also broken off a piece of his foot in the process. Ouch. Also, we're assuming we get to punt after following Plan B, so that at least is good. Edited August 28, 2013 by Just in Atlanta
Mark Vader Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Isn't play A exactly what we were begging for last year? Yes. And if there are only 6 defenders on every play, like Play A has drawn on the chalkboard, we should run all the time. I love the route the WR on the left hand side takes in Play B. Just in Atlanta Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 haha! The dragon in Play B is hilarious. At least they have Tuel throwing it away from the dragon.
jaybee Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Post of the month right there.....by far! Thanks for that it was much needed !!!
dubs Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I love the route the WR on the left hand side takes in Play B. He had no choice. The dragon was playing quarters so WR did all he could, float back to the line of scrimmage.
