Rico Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 The PTI guys put Brady at the top of their "food chain" for QBs playing this weekend, & I'd have to agree. I look for Manning to fold once again... and I'm not at all impressed with the Colts D.
Pete Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Marsha is gonna choke bigtime. Manning is gonna kick ass
gantrules Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 No Poole, no Law, no Seymour. This isn't Drew Bledsoe we are talking about. It's arguable the best QB to strap up ever statistically. No wonder the Pats are trying to get the field screwed up. Indy by 14.
stuckincincy Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Freeney's been impressive lately. That may cause them to use Dillon for more blocking, but Dillon is an ok if not exceptional blocker, and comes back into the play for a dump-off.
njsue Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Peyton Manning finally has the Pats where he wants them ALL BANGED UP. Colts 48 Marsha & the brady bunch 27
Hollywood Donahoe Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Look I can see saying that the Colts will win (any given Sunday), and I can see saying that Manning will put up good numbers (he has in two of the last three games versus N.E.), but some of this is just dumb. Colts scoring 48? Brady "choking" against the Colts pathetic secondary? Please, come back to reality.
ajzepp Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I think it's time for Peyton to actually take out the Pats....... I agree that the Colts D is suspect, but the one thing Dungy has them doing is getting turnovers and sacks......if they can turn it up on Brady for 60 mins, I think Manning will have the composure to take advantage of what the D produces. Colts 23 Pats 16
Buftex Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Afraid I have to agree with Hollywood Donahoe. Yeah, we all know how great Manning and the Colts offense are, but we discount how bad their defense is, and the fact that the Patriots have a pretty damn good offense too. It would seem that the Pats have their fair share of injuries on defense, but when has that stopped them before? Now, I am not saying that the Patriots are a shoe in to win on Sunday (although I think they will eek one out another home win, as is their nature), but all of you who think the Colts are going to mop up the field with the Pats are just being silly...Peyton will get his numbers, but as so many great QB's have found out before, it takes more than a 300 yard passing game to win in the playoffs.
bprulz Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Colts lost there last 6 at foxboro and mannings numbers were not that good.
