billsfan_34 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I counted 76 on the active roster? Even popped the roster from the Bills site to excel just to verify no eye trickery. Still got 76. Was supposed to be 75 on active roster. Am i missing something?
djp14150 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Byrd is exempt frm the roster count for 2 weeks. I think when he is ready to be activated buffalo will likely put Gilmore( or another injured player) on the in season IR with the plan to activate him after 6 weeks.

He can't get on PUP....he was injured in the preseason....instead he can get on in season IR which has a similar timeline as the PUP ...on it for minimum of 6 weeks then a roster exemption to have them practice before activation.
