Clippers of Nfl
If he only has 1 week to prepare against the Pats, do we really need to rush him back?

YoloinOhio
Is this a trick question? Even Tuel wants him back.
BillnutinHouston
1) EJ has missed no mental reps. 2) If he has at least a week to practice, he is physically ready to play. 3) I'm not flying half way across the country to watch Jeff Tuel. Miyagi-Do Karate
I would wait on Manuel if he isn't 100%. Otherwise, I think he plays.
Captain Hindsight
Really? He's not a baby. He is a first round pick and the future of the franchise. If he can play, he should and will start
ko12010
If I'm Marrone and the Bills team leaders I'm putting a target on Wilfork's back and staying in the refs' ears all game about this a**hole. We all know what he likes to do to QB's knees.
Mark80
Home division game against the best team in our division. If your best QB is healthy enough to play you play him. PERIOD. Division games are too valuable. To suggest you sit him no matter what, suggest that we throw in the towel on season before a regular season snap even occurred. I'm not down with that at all. MichFan
Show this article to Tuel: http://www.boston.com/sports/columnists/wilbur/2013/08/patriots_set_to.html Give him the start and pull him if he proves the writer correct.

I think this season will have surpassed most people's expectations if a week 1 loss to the Patriots is the difference in making the playoffs or not. I don't know how one can consider starting Tuel if there are still health concerns with Manuel "throwing in the towel on season".
The Big Cat
It's a divisional game. He !@#$ing plays. He'll have had much more than a week to "prepare." To suggest otherwise is false.
Clippers of Nfl
Really? He's not a baby. He is a first round pick and the future of the franchise. If he can play, he should and will start You should ask this question to Kurt Warner. He's of the mind set to let the rookie qbs sit till the moment is right. Midway in the season. So add an injury to preseason, I'm pretty sure he would sit him regardless.

Honestly I wouldnt knock the coach if he sits him as a precaution. It wouldnt be throwing the entire season. Not for one game. The season is long. hondo in seattle
None of us know what the 'minor procedure' was but if he's ready to play, play him. EJ is probably going to be our starter for a few years. Let's get this thing started. He probably gives us the best chance of winning the Pats game and he also needs the experience of real game action.
OhIDunno
100% healthy = 100% starting.... <100% healthy = 100% sit-em, until he reaches 100% healthy..

You may be right. But up until the last few years, it was pretty normal for rookies to start midway the season. EVEN WHEN HEALTHY.
Maury Ballstein
Really ? Disagree. He's been playing football at a high level since forever. A week or two means nothing.
