I'm Spartacus Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 McKelvin is our man. It's hard to catch punts in the NFL
CardinalScotts Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 McKelvin...other guys have done the dual role
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Strange to be saying this, but we can't afford to lose mckelvin to injury. My vote is Goodwin.
Kirby Jackson Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 McKelvin is the best in the league at this skill. I hate using him like that, but breaking one is always big. Actually, the coaches and McKelvin need to decide together what to do. I think we see him some, but not all the time. Share the duty. Likely see him late in close games (if there are any) I agree with you for the most part. I would like to see him in a Devin Hester type of role. When you need a big play put him back there and then maybe Goodwin otherwise. McKelvin is the best in the business as a punt returner but with Gilmore out I really don't think that we can put him back there full time.
YoloinOhio Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Just heard that the Eagles will be using DeSean Jackson on punt returns. Considering how thin they are at WR, they have the same dilemma but looks like they are rolling the dice with the best guy.
simpleman Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 You use the best guy you have if you want to win. He is the best period! I would give Goodwin a shot as well.

I'm coming around to this. We are going to need any points we can get, and if we can get it on ST we need to roll with McLovin.
