Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Raiders release Joshua Cribbs, per espn txt he usually really good makes me wonder whats wrong. Wouldn't mind bringing him in.
metzelaars_lives Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 With all the potential issues facing the Bills this season, a guy who pretty much only returns kicks is probably the last thing we could possibly need. If nothing else, I think we're set there.

SBUffalo Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 We can't even figure out which wide receivers to get rid of and have three at the position right now that appear to be very good at returning kicks. But yea, let's bring in ANOTHER.
Maury Ballstein Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Raiders are tanking. Shedding salary also. Definitely not needed here fwiw. Tough player though
SBUffalo Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Raiders are tanking. Shedding salary also. Definitely not needed here fwiw. Tough player though Cribbs has serious lingering injuries and hasn't returned a kick in four years. Kind of useless at this point.
Buftex Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) Josh uncle Joe Cribbs is one of my all-time favorite Bills...but as other have pointed out, WR (especially ones that are more return men, and not very accomplished offensivly) are the least of the Bills worries at the moment. I could see him winding back up in Cleveland, or with the NY Jets. The Jets receivers are pretty bad, and they have little speed on offense. They looked so bad, almost wonder if Rex is going to flame out before the season even starts.... Edited August 25, 2013 by Buftex
Captain Hindsight Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 He is dealing with a knee injury too. His career is in jeopardy

Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 He is dealing with a knee injury too. His career is in jeopardy wasn't aware of his condition, probably on the decline now.
ganesh Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Don't we already have Brad Smith and multiple threads discussing whether we need to keep him on the roster or not? Why add another one to the misery!
The Cincinnati Kid Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 When I saw he was released by Oakland I thought to myself "I bet there is a thread about tire kicking by morning."
Beerball Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Cribbs has serious lingering injuries and hasn't returned a kick in four years. Kind of useless at this point. huh?
