Best Player Available Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Anyone still thinking Byrd won't be an upgrade at FS in Pettine's system?
Wayne Cubed Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 So, if the Bills play well in preseason, it's Super Bowl. If they play like crap it's 0-16. Preseason football at it's best.
Max997 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 IF u sign up for ea season ticket u get to dl the game before it comes out, then when its released the dled version no longer works...its badass tho ive been playing connected carrers with the bills. Sweet thanks I didn't even think of that I bought the anniversary edition in order to get the Sunday ticket
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Just remember what "they" say: The preseason is meaningless.
boyst Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I want to see us go to a 3-4 in the second half to try and stop this middle soft zone.
stony Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Tuel is exposed against 2nd-stringers and above. Very unimpressive.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Just remember what "they" say: The preseason is meaningless. True and Theisman is still a punk.... where is Lawrence Taylor when you need him.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Anyone still thinking Byrd won't be an upgrade at FS in Pettine's system? In fairness, Searcy has sucked all preseason so I think reasonable people never doubted that Byrd's addition would help. However I'm a bit concerned by the cornerback play. Quite a bit of it can be attributed to the return of rusty vets, McKelvin and Rogers. Both of those guys have been exploited quite a bit.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Theisman was relatively better then the other schmucks on NFLN. While he was talking about his pizza?.. No I can't imagine anyone more annoying uninformed or generally bad at calling a game than Joe t.
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Anyone still thinking Byrd won't be an upgrade at FS in Pettine's system? Link of who said they didn't?
Beebes Bubble Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) And the hits keep on comin'. Both Gilmore (hand) and Searcy (concussion) were injured. http://profootballta...-for-bills-too/ Edited August 24, 2013 by Beebes Bubble
Pete Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 well searcy is hurt, so we can see what else we got

McKelvin has been "rusty" at CB his whole NFL career.

The problem I have with that is that neither has ever been a good cover corner. Trade TJ for a corner, please.
Pete Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 7 injuries I just heard- Spiller, Gilmore, Kolb, Searcy,
bills44 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Anyone still thinking Byrd won't be an upgrade at FS in Pettine's system? Who thought that to begin with?

And wasn't Gilmore the one covering Garcon on their 1st TD?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 McKelvin has been "rusty" at CB his whole NFL career. Usually he's really tight in coverage but can't make a play on the ball. Today he's been quite distant from the man he's supposed to cover.
