PromoTheRobot Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) I wish I could see that game. Would love to see Tebow come in and go 1-7 for -1 yard again and cement his spot on the cut list. Tebow is glued to the bench tonight. Take that for what it's worth.. Edited August 23, 2013 by PromoTheRobot
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Ready now it will be "Pats can they do it with just a QB?"
brucethomas34 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Who's Pat, was the person doing the pounding wearing a condom?
brucethomas34 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Buffalos going to destroy them week one. Hell ya buddy! Lets get fired up!
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 DaaaaaaaaaMMMNNNNNN!!!!! Bill is gonna be angry.
Doc Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Mallett looked horrible. And to think people wanted the Bills to trade a pick, much less a high one, to the Pats for that joke.
Koufax Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Speaking of getting pounded, the defending champs are looking like crap against Carolina. And the Arizona Cardinals manhandled the '85 Bears in preseason as well I believe.
Mike in Syracuse Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I'm watching the game tonight and I hope Nate Hackett is as well. The Patriot LB's can't cover worth a ****, especially when players are coming out of the backfield. Mayo and Ninko are solid against the run but there's no way they can run with CJ, TJ or Marquis.
OCinBuffalo Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) Wow. ESPN is not trying to spin. Jaworski is laying into them. He says they aren't going to come out smoking, and that it's gonna take some time. Jaws is gonna get banned for 7 days. "They could have blown em out in the 1st quarter". Nothing explains away this performance. Nothing. Spare me the preseason excuse. They don't look like the Pats we know. Brady looked like he was 60% of himself, which, make no mistake, is still good. His 60% is better than ~half the QBs in the league. But, that's never, ever going to be good enough to overcome what I saw from the Patriot D. I'm watching the game tonight and I hope Nate Hackett is as well. The Patriot LB's can't cover worth a ****, especially when players are coming out of the backfield. Mayo and Ninko are solid against the run but there's no way they can run with CJ, TJ or Marquis. Absolutely. Somehow, I screwed up and the last 2 sentences of my post got cut off. This is a fine replacement. EDIT: I bolded that because I had to. This is a weakness we damn well better exploit. Especially in the screen game. My O lineman shouldn't be faster than your LBs, and beating them to spots over and over. Edited August 23, 2013 by OCinBuffalo
boyst Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I fully expected Lawson to go to NE. Amazed he didn't. He'd have done wonders...
White Linen Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Brady looks different to me like he's ultra concerned about getting hit. Maybe it's just the pre-season and trying to stay healthy but he looks to get rattled easier than I ever remember.
Marv's Neighbor Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I was watching this game as well. The Lions are really getting pressure on Tommy Hope Marsha at least had a nice Hotel Room!
Jamie Nails Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 There were been some pretty bad plays by Brady's receivers early in the game. The lack of continuity and inexperience will surely hurt them this season- at least early.
Wayne Cubed Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I made the comment after the last Patriots* game that maybe their offensive success in the first 2 games was due to them practicing against TB and Philly prior to playing them. Guess that might be the case. Or it's still the preseason.
eball Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Brady's going to make that Thompkins kid a star though...
Dorkington Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Being that it's preseason, I'll keep my expectations in check. But I can't help but feel a tiny twinge of optimism.
plenzmd1 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Being that it's preseason, I'll keep my expectations in check. But I can't help but feel a tiny twinge of optimism. This. I still fear the 4-0 Lions going 0-16 happening to the Bills
BuffaloWings Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) Being that it's preseason, I'll keep my expectations in check. But I can't help but feel a tiny twinge of optimism. I can't even feel a twinge of optimism...yes, I like the changes the Bills made on paper and I like to see the Patsies getting pounded, but I'll wait to judge them until I see them on the field in Week 1. It's preseason, folks...it means N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Edited August 23, 2013 by BuffaloWings
