Ned Flanders Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Orchard Park weather I know these long range forecasts are a joke, but it's good to see opening weekend appear on the radar screen...62 degrees would be perfect, if we can just keep those showers out of there.
Just Jack Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 It's the opener, it'll be sunny and 80 at least.
Mark VI Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Cuts off the day before the opener. I'll take low 60's and clear. The Bills- Jets 2002 opener wasn't fun. 91 degrees and humid. The stadium ran out of water in the 1st quarter.

taterhill Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I assume it will be dark and chilly when we get to the stadium.....5AM
flomoe Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 they sell water? 15561[/snapback] LMAO!!!!!!! Was it the opener two years ago that they ran out of water and it was 90+ and sunny? I still don't understand why they don't let you take your own jug of water into the game, unless they think you're smuggling vodka or something.
LabattBlue Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Not only was the weather nice for last years opener, so was the game. I feel that the Jags are in for a long day...27-10.
Just Jack Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 66 and some rain showers now listed. Bring a poncho just in case.
Ned Flanders Posted September 3, 2004 Author Posted September 3, 2004 While I said earlier that these long range forecasts are shaky at best, they're usually in the ballpark when it comes to the temp...66 degrees would be perfect wil a little bit of sun!
Just Jack Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Temp is now up to 69, but still showing a few showers.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 The entire football season is shorts weather in TX. I like it. I like it a lot.
Mark VI Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 A shame the opener wasn't today. The weather the last few days has been the best of the summer. Should be partly Sunny and 78 today. The last few days were in the 80's and Sunny. Lots of time in the pool and having another barbecue today. I've been lucky this Summer. Every time I've had folks over for a barbecue and pool party, the weather has been great. Go figure. I guess God likes Village Idiots.
njsue Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 You have a pool. We could pre tailgate at your house next year

Mark VI Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Wow. It's 84 in the shade right now. Sunny and perfect. What a great day ! Been doing some work in the yard, thinking " This SHOULD have been opening weekend " Friggin NFL and their late start .. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Some gardening after lunch and then fun with the friends... Perfect tailgate/picnic weather...Think I'll call my brother in Miami and mock him...
zow2 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Hopefully tropical storm Frances will start moving faster. Now they project it heading farther west and going very slowly north late in the week. I don't want a big blob of rain hanging over WNY all weekend.
