Best Player Available Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Nice guy. I hope does well with the Bucs, except the game I will be attending when the Bills play there.
NoSaint Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Nice guy. I hope does well with the Bucs, except the game I will be attending when the Bills play there. he can kick field goals all day as long as were kicking extra points.
BillnutinHouston Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Outstanding and very classy. Clearly he gets what Bills nation is all about.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I have to say, that was a classy move by Lindell. The logical part of me is happy to have a young guy who costs less and has a bigger leg, But I remember him being one constant though the last era while a lot of things were rather awful.

I appreciate the fact that even though he knew the writing was on the wall, he still helped the rookie in camp. Thank you Rian.
Nanker Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Nice gesture by a nice guy. Some may not remember that Mike Holmgren was sitting on the fence about re-signing Lindell because of his irregular and inaccurate kicks. The Bills signed him because he had a stronger leg than Mike Hollis. But Lindell wasn't terribly accurate on a consistent basis. It would be a good thing to think about if and when Dustin Hopkins reminds us more of Tootsie than the sure-thing NFL kicker we think he is today.

I was there at Fedex Field, when Lindell kicked the game winning FG to enjoy a come from behind victory. It was the famous call-timeout to ice the kicker!. Great guy
Charles Romes Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Ten years with the Bills. Steady player and his performance never dropped off in the playoffs.

WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Maybe as one final thank you he can drop one on the 20 for Goodwin running in full stride.
dollars 2 donuts Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Class Act, great guy, hope he does well...but I still would have like him in a Green Bay uniform with a real shot of playing in February.
swnybillsfan Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 class act, great guy, very proud to have had him play for the bills. a part of me wishes he could have been our kicker forever, but in the nfl, ten years seems about as close as you can get. wish him nothing but success and happiness, and hope that when he does call it quits, he signs a 1 day contract and retires as a bill.
K-9 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Ten years with the Bills. Steady player and his performance never dropped off in the playoffs. Posts like this are what keep me coming back. Funny stuff. GO BILLS!!!
CowgirlsFan Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 A Texas Toast to the man who spent some time as a Dallas Cowboy and now as a former Buffalo Bill.
coloradobillsfan Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 But Lindell wasn't terribly accurate on a consistent basis. most accurate kicker in Bills history?
CardinalScotts Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 pretty good kicker(his numbers back it up, in a place that can be hard to kick in) who played for bad team- not his fault. If we had a good 10 year run he would be looked upon as a great kicker
