Yes it's hard to believe. In that short amount of time from the store to your house would be a real coincidence in my opinion. But that's o.k. because I could care less about the dopers on this team. For all I care they can cut all the criminals who break the law just as the Pats did with Hernandez. The Pats are a class organization and got rid of Hernandez as soon as he was arrested. They even gave fans their money back if they had purchased his jersey. That's what a 1st rate organization does. I guess that's one of the reasons they have 3 rings.

On the surface it might appear that way, or to the casual fan, but this is simply untrue

So what you're saying is they have three rings because they know the difference between marijuana posession and murder? Damn if it's that easy...............

Hmmmmm, whatever floats your boat! ROFL Breaking the law is breaking the law. Where do you draw the line? So if a guy commits rape do you keep him on your team? If so, what about robbery? Do you keep him if he only robbed? If that's o.k. what about armed robbery? what if he robs and an old lady and beats her, is that o.k. Do you keep him on the team? How about if he's a child molester, would you cut him or keep him? Where do YOU draw the line. Tell us your opinion, I'm dying to see what is acceptable and what isn't. What about DWI? How about DUI and someone get killed in the accident?

What about a speeding ticket? I mean come on, murder is a serious offense and pot possession isn't. You are making no sense

To some people it is. But that's ok, legalization is spreading. Does that mean the NFL can still prohibit it's use? Of course. Does it mean Bradham is still a dummy for having it on him, when he could have easily finished it wherever he was and took a cab home? Of course.

Maybe Bradham should lose a 1st round draft pick and be fined $750K?

Why don't we start with a misdemeanor vs a felony. And then we'll work form there.

I dont think we need to. Most folks here have a decent value system. And the law provides guidelines to determine the seriousness of the violation.

Comparing the patriots situation with Hernandez, and the Bradham and Bills does nothing to instill much any value in your argument TFE.

I will assume you are lonely and enjoy a bit of thrust and parry. Not a problem.

But please do not uphold the patriots as a bastion of ethics or morals on a BUFFALO BILLS FORUM

Wish probable cause exists in NYC! I'm only half kidding; it's supposed to be the letter of the law, but the NYPD does what the NYPD wants to do. I've never ever in my life experienced racial discrimination or racial profiling prior to moving to NYC; that includes 12 years of driving around various parts of Texas, Chicago, and Michigan. Had never been pulled over once. Not ONCE. The first 18 months that I was in this city, I was "randomly" pulled over 5 times. No doubt the Texas plates are a red flag to these cops, but I think the color of my skin has some say in that as well.

I don't drink, smoke, or drive a flashy car, unless you consider a 1995 Toyota Camry that's in desperate need of a paint job, "flashy." In the 5 years I've been in this city, I've been stopped over 10 times. Wish I could say I was kidding here. Ask me how many times I've had to pay a ticket... What's worse, I've even been ordered out of the car, patted down like a criminal, and had my car searched as though I had just broken a law. Went online to see what I could do to the officers who treated me this way, but the general consensus/advice was to, "let it go."

Probable cause? I'm going with "out of state plates and Black skin for $1000, Alex." I'm also inclined to believe the Florida plate was more of a factor than Nigel's tinted windows.

Geesh! This is really lame to say the least. As a middle-aged white man, it's hard to imagine having to deal with this crap, let alone feeling like I'd better just cooperate rather than piss off the powers that be. I'm a lawyer and the few times this has happened to me, I will only let them go so far before I let them know they're messing with someone who knows his rights. But to be honest, I'm not sure if I was in your shoes how I would handle it.

I was pulled over by a Sherriff one night after doing some gambling at the Casino in Irving with my brother. No drugs, weapons or alcohol in the car. It was late on a week night, and he starts trying to tell me that the reason he pulled me over was because there had been a report of some disturbance caused by some guys driving a vehicle with a description matching my car. I was driving a late model silver Dodge Magnum with the v8 hemi. Now, that car was NEVER very popular, and I never saw one in four years that I had it that matched mine. So the chances that someone was actually causing trouble on the rez on a weeknight in a car just like mine were remote.

I let him question me, and I was cooperative until he asked me if it would be alright to search my car. I asked him why, and he said because he wanted to be sure there were no drugs or weapons in the car. I assured them there were not, and I asked him what probable cause he had as a basis for that concern, and he started repeating this report about trouble and the matching vehicle, and that if I didn't have anything to hide, why wouldn't I just let him do it, and I finally politely interrupted him with a smile, and let him know that I wasn't buying it.

He then went to the other side of the car and started questioning my brother, and when he heard my brother was from Eden, he wanted him to get out of the car because he had some questions about some illegal activity supposedly going on in Eden, and I interrupted him again and asked him what jurisdiction he had in Eden and why he was now planning to question my brother about something that was completely unrelated to the supposed reason we were pulled over in the first place.

He asked me if I was a lawyer, and I said "why yes I am. What gave it away?" He abruptly told me get going and walked back to his cruiser.

It's a fine line you have to walk with them and they know that. They rely on the fact that you will be intimidated by the fact that they have a weapon on their hip and presumed authority.

First of all, it's "you COULDN'T care less." If you COULD care less, that means you still care a t least some. Get it? And yes, the Pats are such a class organization, that they drafted the guy notwithstanding a fairly extensive series of run-ins with the law and teammates and a generally gangsta attitude prior to drafting him.

They only waited til he capped someone execution style before finally getting rid of him.

Possessing marijuana is not a crime that involves a victim. Do you get that distinction? Hernandez has left a stream of vics in his wake during his New England tenure. And three of them are dead and one of him is missing an eye. But yeah, your right, a bag of chron in the glove box is certainly on that level.

You funny!

Can I ask you a question? What the hell are you talking about??

You don't carry a case of beer around in your car for no reason. it's not a safety device or a spare tire. People don't just drive around carrying a case of beer in their car. If they have a case of beer it's because they brought it to drink. Common sense, wouldn't you say?

When I buy beer at the grocery store, I usually bring it home in my car. Walking really isn't an option.

They drafted a thug. They videotaped opponents.

You consider New England to be a classy organization?

I've seen this pattern before.

Good bye.

What about what he posted do you not understand?

Are you being facetious? Because I hope you're being facetious.

It seems like you were engaged in a discussion with some misguided new poster and making the point that he was nonsensical in making Bradham's misstep equivalent to Hernandez' homicide.

I think 3rd and 12 was agreeing with you and actually addressing the misguided new poster. However he began his post with "I don't think we have to" which would seem like 3rd and 12 was disagreeing with you. But I think actually he was saying that the differences are so obvious that we don't have to rewind back to 1st grade math (for the misguided poster).

I was concerned that you had moved into a conflict situation with 3rd and 12 who I believe was agreeing with you.

Thus my question to you.
