Pilsner Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Rian, thank you for your years as a Bill. Best wishes to you after football and if you catch on with another team.
Kiwi Bills fan Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 All the best to you, Rian! Thank you for your years of effort. Go Bills!
BuffaloBill Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Sad to see him go but when they carried two kickers for a while last year the handwriting was on the wall. He is a class guy and hopefully he hooks on elsewhere.
Clippers of Nfl Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 this list says lindell had a 27% touchback ratio (still bad): http://www.teamranki...f-touchback-pct Can we beg for his forgiveness and bring him back?
eball Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Sad to see him go but when they carried two kickers for a while last year the handwriting was on the wall. He is a class guy and hopefully he hooks on elsewhere. Reports are he's already heading to Tampa for a tryout.
Max997 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 I think this has been long overdue but I've never been a fan of his. Can't believe he was Bills kicker for as long as he was though
eball Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Lindell has apparently signed with Tampa. Didn't take long.
BRAWNDO Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Lindell has apparently signed with Tampa. Didn't take long. Good for him http://www.wgr550.com/Report--Former-Bills-K-Lindell-signs-with-Tampa-Ba/17105828
SBUffalo Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hmmm. Doubt he beats out Tynes for that job. Could be close, though.
NoSaint Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hmmm. Doubt he beats out Tynes for that job. Could be close, though. Minus tynes injury issues currently
QCity Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 That's the perfect spot for him as I recall Tampa's punter handles all kickoffs. Good for him.

C.Biscuit97 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Very very classy. Other ex-Bills should take note (yea I am looking at you Peters, Whitner) It goes both ways. Do you think Lindell was hated the second he was drafted like Whitner (Peters is a different story)? Why should players be classy when fans aren't? As for Lindell, I wish him well. He is a good guy & a solid kicker. But I never completely trusted him in the clutch. And it will be nice to have a kicker who can kick past 40 yards. It's a weapon the Bills have been missing for years.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 The goodbye letter just shows the class act he is. Glad he has hooked on with another team
