BRAWNDO Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 John Murphy just said Manuel may have just won the starting job after that drive.
Fixxxer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 If I'm a defensive player, I would hate to play this fast paced offense.
The Poojer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 wow, i blinked and missed a 13 play 80 yard TD drive....
Mark Vader Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Has Brad Smith ever been that wide open? Way to go Manuel. Good running game too.
Dorkington Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Think you are missing the 28 rushing yards. I do believe he had a few more 1st downs also. The touchdown is also a pretty big difference. Touchdown vs Interception is a huge difference.
Beebes Bubble Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Inactive for tonight: T.J. Graham Stevie Johnson Brad Smith Justin Rogers Crezdon Butler Kiko Alonso Kourtnei Brown Keith Williams Mario Williams What source was this? Besides Brad Smith, Justin Rogers has also been on the field.
The Poojer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 just saw he complained of soreness after practice and was inactive What source was this? Besides Brad Smith, Justin Rogers has also been on the field.
Fan in Chicago Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Those who will make the case that EJ is playing against Minny's second string will do well to be reminded that EJ is playing with the seconds on O also.
KD in CA Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Wow, this is night and day between Kolb and EJ I'm only catching bits on NFLN, but were the Bills running the ball like this in the first half?
jethro_tull Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 (edited) very nice drive on the time delayed NFLN . good coaching makes our third stringers play better than last season's starters. i'm watching the game last week wondering who the heck they're going to cut? Edited August 17, 2013 by jethro_tull
Clippers of Nfl Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 16/21 for 107 yards one td I'll grant you that Manuel is probably close to winning this competition, but there's not as big a difference in their stats as you are trying to suggest. nfl. com has him at 13/21 not 16/21 so which one is it
Clutchwarfare Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I'm only catching bits on NFLN, but were the Bills running the ball like this in the first half? Spiller was good in limited time and Fred looked good as well.
Dorkington Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I'm only catching bits on NFLN, but were the Bills running the ball like this in the first half? They ran the ball 20ish times in the first half, for about 4 yards per carry. Seems like they are getting more yards on the runs in the second half though.
MRW Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Think you are missing the 28 rushing yards. I do believe he had a few more 1st downs also. The touchdown is also a pretty big difference. Good points, and you can see a big difference in effectiveness. I still found it a bit ridiculous to point to Kolb's low passing yardage when Manuel had the same amount last week. It's all looking like a moot point, isn't it?
Mark Vader Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I'm only catching bits on NFLN, but were the Bills running the ball like this in the first half? Yes, they had 89 yards rushing in the first half.
boyst Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Well, Brad Smith is inactive tonight. That's why no one was covering him.
Wayne Cubed Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I'm only catching bits on NFLN, but were the Bills running the ball like this in the first half? They were running, but when it came to 3rd down and Kolb had to pass... he was really inaccurate. Throwing behind receivers, etc.
BRAWNDO Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Sal Capaccio @SalSports 46s Da'Rick Rogers chased that kick returner all the way down the field. Something tells me he was "talked to" after last week. #Bills
