If Kolb doesn't show a blatant better chance to win games, then I think the call needs to be made after this game to get all the snaps going forward to EJ. I'm not saying that I think EJ was perfect, or even ready for that matter, but we really only have one real preseason game after this and snaps in a new offense matter. Also, I do believe that Kolb should be able to show more quickly, being a veteran and his 3rd time showing his stuff with a team at training camp. So yeah, missing last week or not, he should be able to show enough to make a decision for us. And for clarity, I'm not saying win the game, throw for 150 yards in the first quarter. I'm just saying he should show control, clean passes, and a high completion percentage. That's what starters do in preseason games again vanilla defenses

EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I was initially mad that Kolb will be starting. I figured EJ has earned it, especially with a home field appearance. However, now thinking about it, seeing Kolb with the 1's might be his death sentence if he doesn't play like an NFL QB. Hope EJ remains confident More importantly, Go Bills.
