I dont think Sampson is eligible for PS. He was drafted by Arizona in 2011 he played in 12 games which counts as an accrued season (6 games or more---unsure if that means on the 53/getting paid or actually being dressed). 1 accrued season means no PS eligibility for them. While I do think Brad Smith gets cut eventually, I don't know if it will be yet. He may be in the same boat as Lindell tho: A veteran that isn't a roster lock who would be better served by being released early in the preseason. Knowing that we will need the roster down to 75 by the 27th, who would you elect to cut? Here are my 11. Nickell Robey, Brad Smith, Ryan Lindell, Torrell Troup, Lee Smith, Arthur Moates, Kevin Elliott, TJ Heath, Chris Hogan, Zach Brown, Demarco Sampson. Robey could be the nickel back (in other words, a virtual starter). He also could be our number one punt returner. He's one of several on your list I disagree with.
