K D Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) ESPN is reporting that Tom Brady just left the joint practice today with the Bucs with a knee injury. It's the same leg he injured in '08. Not sure how serious it is yet but this could be big news. Stay tuned... video: http://telly.com/13APF8V http://www.nfl.com/n...ent-knee-injury http://espn.go.com/b...-bay-buccaneers http://nfl.si.com/2013/08/14/tom-brady-injury-new-england-patriots/ http://profootballta...ooking-at-knee/ http://boston.cbsloc...pparent-injury/ http://www.cbssports...ent-knee-injury Edited August 15, 2013 by kdiggz
Metal Man Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I'm finding myself torn on this news.... On one hand anything that will help the Pats* lose is a wonderful thing. However the other part of me wants to see the Bills facing the real New England* come September to see how we match up.
The Big Cat Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Noooo! I want no excuses on weeek 1. I'm finding myself torn on this news.... Yeah, no. Starting the season with a division win is all I care about. I don't care if it's against the WBUR staff.
NoSaint Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 im all for winning more games but not a huge fan of injuries to anyone.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Noooo! I want no excuses on weeek 1. I want to see Brady moping on the sidelines as the Bills run up the score. I'm skeptical that it would be bad enough to have him miss week one...but I'll be keeping an eye out.
Meatloaf Sandwich Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Tebow curse. Funny this happened right after Tebow blew out his candles on the birthday cake. Hmm....
MDH Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Looking at espn.com and si.com now and I don't see either reporting it.

He has four and a half weeks to recovery from whatever it might be.
Kellyto83TD Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I hope he is down. I the win no matter what
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 can you imagine the implosion if we lose to a backup qb?
K D Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Looking at espn.com and si.com now and I don't see either reporting it. It just happened, breaking news on TV. I doubt it's published anywhere yet besides twitter
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 From everything I hear its nothing major. Maybe a tweak or something, they took him out of practice as a precautionary measure. I'm sure he'll be back to his usual smug, healthy self come Week 1 against us.
Cugalabanza Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 What an awesome gif! I'm gonna save and use that one.
jumbalaya Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 To be the best, you have to beat the best when they are at their best.
Westside Madness Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I believe we are being trolled. After about 90 min, this would be reported everywhere. Nothing on nfl.com, espn.com, twitter... While i sensed trolling, it still had me searching for a few min
jimmyjack88 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Did Tebow throw row a rubber mat on the field behind him?
NoSaint Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 It just happened, breaking news on TV. I doubt it's published anywhere yet besides twitter and with the joint practice and with revis in attendance, and it being local to ESPN theyve had cameras covering everything up there. not surprised its on TV near instantly for this story.
