The Big Cat Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Last night, my wife and I made the decision to add Betty to our family. She's a 3 year-old, 50ish pound Lab/Pitt Bull. I know there are some real dog lovers here, so enjoy the photos below (no doubt I'll be taking/posting more when she officially comes 'home' in September). Ha, I showed her off when I posted a photo from our wedding a few months ago. :-) Pet adoption is a great thing. The dog looks super happy and I love when people use "people" names as their pet names! She is a very sweet girl. She's been in foster care since November, and we're the first people to call. Her real name is "Betsy" but I have a co-worker named Betsy (also a pit bull), so that'd be weird and "Betty" is my late grandmother's name, so we thought the change could work out.
