HeHateMe Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Well I'm convinced, Tuel should take over EJ's first team reps for the rest of the preseason. GJ Trolls.. keep on Trollin.
prissythecat Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 We should've gotten Tim Tebow when we had the chance. No . We should have gotten Skelton when we had the chance.
Nanker Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 No . We should have gotten Skelton when we had the chance. Get with the program. We should have gotten Skelton BEFORE we had the chance. Would have too, but Nix was asleep at the wheel.
BringBackFergy Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 All this talk about Tuel makes me miss Chas Rhinegold even more...imagine if we still had him?? Tuel to Rhinegold all day each Sunday...a guy can dream.
Bufcomments Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 It would be a waste to give 1st team reps to tuel right now. If we spread them out to 3 qbs, we won't have a qb ready for weak 1. I don't see the point of giving the 3rd string qb 1st team reps when the other qb has done well. All that is going to do is bring a circus, have people doubt EJ, media/fans complaining that they are wasting EJ, all on a slim chance that tuel might outplay EJ vs starting nfl talent. If EJ played poorly, and tuel did amazing, I could understand that. But tuel did not outplay EJ on Sunday. All tuel did was do better than expected and might have earned a roster spot. But he did not outplay EJ They wont be splitting reps after this game I bet. The 3rd preseason game will feature the starters so the decision will be made fairly soon. But I likes what I saw from Tuel but I bet most of us now feel comfortable now that we seem to have 2 QB's that can handle this system. We will find out about Kolb this Friday, I want to see if he plays as well or better than E.J. running this fast paced no huddle.
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Landry Jones, whose first play went for a safety? Yeah, wish we had that guy. He had mocks with us drafting Landry in the 1st. I also believe he is very high in Gabbert & Tannehill. In short, see who BB likes & do the opposite.
Matt in KC Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Tuel is kind of winning. . . the war of attrition.

Offside Number 76 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Do we get it yet? Do we get it yet? Tuel is not winning, and neither are the Bills. (Sorry. I just had to resurrect one of the dumbest threads in memory.)
GG Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I thought of this thread after the first pass Tuel threw. In retrospect, how is he even NFL backup caliber?
chris heff Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 The stupidity and arrogance of going into the season with a rookie undrafted backup QB in mind boggling.
