NickelCity Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I like Delano Howell. I lobbied for him all last year. He is talented.
Jerry Jabber Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Last two WR spots come down to Easley, Smith or Rodgers. Who gets cut? I would keep Easley & Rogers.
Dorkington Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Well, we know who Tuel has chemistry with, hah.
Kellyto83TD Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Wow, Tuel is on Fire. Looks comfortable, damn good arm, makes good decisions overall. Uh I am thinking Mr Kolb's salary can be spent elsewhere.
K-9 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Haven't shown anything exotic on either side of the ball and it looks like our guys are playing with passion. Marrone establishing a culture. GO BILLS!!!
Optometric Insight Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Tuel is getting out and talking to easley on the pass to him for 8. Impresses me
voodoo poonani Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Me too Easley needs to prove it against starters. And stay healthy.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 The Senator always wanted us to hire Mike Leach. Now we have a Mike Leach disciple in Jeff Tuel. While Tyler Wilson struggles in Oakland, it's amazing the play the Bills are getting out of an undrafted free agent. Something definitely feels different here. It's felt different since the coaching search.
The Big Cat Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Marrone had some words for Snow....oooweeeeee
RCOHEN13 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Last two WR spots come down to Easley, Smith or Rodgers. Who gets cut? Smith.. these young WR's have chance to be special.. Rather have them in case someone goes down that a vet like Smith who we know is well below average... Get rid of as much of Gailey era as possible!
KOKBILLS Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I would keep Easley & Rogers. Exactly...Better to have an eye towards the future...Easley clearly looks like an NFL WR...And Rogers has serious upside...What do the Bills lose by cutting Smith besides experience? Smith is not an every down WR-type...I like Smith's versatility, but I don't think that matters much to this staff...No wildcat with this Offense...
dollars 2 donuts Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I would keep Easley & Rogers. I know it is early but if this continues I agree. I am not up for the whole Smith is a veteran and can do STs argument.
BB2004 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Easley needs to prove it against starters. And stay healthy. I absolutely agree. Watching him against the backups, he looks like an all pro out there. Got to see him against the starters to see how he is progressing.
Bills!Win! Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Anyone else paying close attention to the d-line? Looks like they're getting great pressure every play.
KRT88 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 So...I'm guessing Brad Smith is feeling a bit nervous at this point...Easley looks much improved, and I don't think the Bills want to chance sneaking Rogers to the Practice Squad...That's not good news for Brad... Brad smith should be nervous as we have depth
Jerry Jabber Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 So far, Easley has 7 receptions for 91 yards.
