I just wanted it clarified that I never suggested slavery was the sole cause of the conflict.

In fact, he never said anything to imply slavery was the only cause. I merely implied that he did. Recklessly That tgreg took it personally was fun. For a while. The Civil War has been a long standing platform for metaphor, for all sorts of idiots here, starting with Moslon_Golden. But now? I have to eat.
