How myopic this board has become.

Henry was a fierce rusher for our team when we were just gitting our sh-- together, and our offensive line was still terrible and hadn't been upgraded.

He's a player that always seems to have a chip on his shoulder anyway, and I don't really want to have to face someone like that twice a year. Shades of Antowain Smith, anyone?

I agree totally. If McGahee struggles his first couple games next year behind a reshuffled line, watch this board turn on him too. Bunch of impatient, short-term memory 'tards around here.

Past doesn't mean sh-- for an NFL RB. Henry has all the trappings of a 4 year max back in his fifth year.

"Antowain Smith is washed up. I mean, Jonathon freaking Linton was doing better than this guy at times. The Patriots are so STUPID for signing him! Hahahaha, fools."

It seemed to me the Patriots won last year despite Antowain, not because of him. It must have seemed that way to their management too, because they cut him.

As for trading Travis within the division: you're giving a team like the Dolphins a player, but you're taking away a draft pick. So they're not necessarily better off.

I meant Antowain's performance against us, specifically, in which he would always play like a mad man. Whether or not Henry is an overall success or not for the Dolphins in this hypothetical situation, you can bet anything that he'd play his heart out and more against us.

And a draft pick has a better chance of failing than Henry, I think, especially something like a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round pick. Henry has proven he can be a very solid and very gritty running back.
