Reserve safety Mana Silva, who had been running with the second team defense, left the team at St. John Fisher Monday. No word from the team as to the reason why Silva decided to leave training camp. The Bills applied for an exemption with the league for Silva's roster spot and it was granted Tuesday. Silva had a couple of stints on Buffalo's practice squad over the past two seasons. With Silva no longer on the roster it opens the door wider for players like draft choices Duke Williams and Jonathan Meeks. But its a new sherriff. almost sound likewhen Marrone took over Syracuse and all all the pee pots went a runnin' he probably spit backy at em. sissy. even little Meeks would kick his keester.

Silva's agent, Josh Arnold, told The Associated Press that his client is re-examining his priorities after experiencing some recent personal issues. Arnold hopes Silva will return to playing football soon. The Bills signed Silva to their practice squad last October after he was cut by Dallas. He was added to the Bills' active roster a month later, and appeared in seven games. An undrafted free agent out of Hawaii, Silva also appeared in five games split over two seasons with Dallas.
