no one will read it but deadspin did a loooooong bio on the manziel family - everything from cockfighting to drug running and some oil fortunes in between. if nothing else, its an interesting read if you have some time. also, loosely, comes to the conclusion that his branch of the family did not see the bulk of the oil money which may, or may not, be related to their eagerness to market Johnny Football.

The sooner the major colleges and universities tell the NCAA to go fug itself and create a new association, the better.
