NDBUFFCUSEFAN
couldn't he just come into the league right now? Nope, he has only been out of HS for 2 years. He is eligible for next years draft.

NDBUFFCUSEFAN
more stupid rules The last thing I want is 18 year old kids entering the NFL. The issue of making money is one thing but the 3 year wait period is something I agree with. Very few players could enter the NFL straight from HS and be successful. SBUffalo
THis was the guy we were supposed to tank for this year? Only in the minds of the people who fall in love with a system and don't know much about the player. Manziel is a talent. But he doesn't have much direction. NoSaint
couldn't he just come into the league right now? beyond the 3 year rule, hes already missed the draft and the supplemental draft and is merely under investigation not booted from the team

NoSaint
floodgates are starting to open up here.... @SportsCenter DEVELOPING: A second autograph broker has said Johnny Manziel asked for money to sign autographs. (via @schadjoe) @schadjoe: A prominent autograph broker in Southeast said Johnny Manziel's personal asst told him he could have another session, but for $ and a lawyer chiming in with that a client has provided photos of him at the signing event at the guys house Edited August 5, 2013 by NoSaint
NoSaint
http://www.gosanangelo.com/news/2013/mar/13/johnny-manziel-signed-items-collectors-beware/?print=1 back in march johnny was on record as having never signed for a dealer, with the only autographs being fans in passing and for charity purposes.... doesnt really jive with a lot of 1000 sequentially numbered autographs. no way he would flood the market for free less than a year before he could start making money off of his autograph.... so you have got to think if they are real, this will be hard for him to flat deny. even if "uncle nate" was collecting the money, the newton rule has closed that loophole. he might get lucky though if everyone stays off the record and they cant find the cash. NoSaint
"On the videos, which the broker said were recorded without Manziel's knowledge, ESPN heard Manziel say "you never did a signing with me" and that if the broker were to tell anyone, he would refuse to deal with him again in the future. Manziel, who appeared comfortable throughout the video recordings, also said if asked, he would say he had simply been approached by various autograph seekers. At one point, ESPN heard a broker ask Manziel if he would take additional cash to sign with special inscriptions, but Manziel declined, indicating he had done that before and it led to questions. The video does not show Manziel accepting cash, which the broker alleges happened three times. The broker told ESPN Manziel said he wanted money for new rims for his vehicle." http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/9544137/broker-says-johnny-manziel-took-7500-autographing-helmets

NoSaint
Glad this moved to the college football board... its gotten like 20 views in the last day (literally) If we must have a college board i dont get why it isnt listed right on the main like OTW is.... it seems far more relevant to the daily football chatter and people might actually look at it if displayed more prominently

Listing it under OTW would be much better.
