ExiledInIllinois
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/10212778/College-student-abandoned-in-windowless-police-cell-for-four-days-reaches-4m-settlement-with-US-government.html Oh my! "Daniel Chong said he drank his own urine to stay alive, hallucinated that agents were trying to poison him with gases through the vents, and tried to carve a farewell message to his mother in his arm." Only a cool million a day. LoL... "Chong said he accepted the possibility of death. He bit into his eyeglasses to break them and used a shard of glass to try to carve "Sorry Mom" onto his arm so he could leave something for her. He only managed to finish an "S." Crayonz' head is gonna explode! Stoner brings 4.1 million home!

What's that supposed to mean? **** happens and the government admits they made a huge mistake and made it right with him. Lots of places in the world that happens and they know they're there. Cugalabanza
It's the american dream: hope something bad happens to in a way that you can cash in on it. I've tried for years to goad my bosses into taking a swing at me. That hasn't worked, so now I'm working it the other way--if I play my cards right, hopefully somebody here will touch my junk. shrader
All he managed was an "S." What a wuss. How did he even do that much if he was cuffed? You probably don't have very much arm to work with thanks to the limited range of motion.

I just tested it out (no real cuffs or glass) and there's about a 3x3 text box with which to work. Writing small, he could've gotten "Sorry, Mom," in there. It was a wise crack on the "war on drugs" and our police state mentality... Sorry for offending. I meant no harm. ExiledInIllinois
You have no idea what a true police state is. And you do? LoL... The agents were imcompetent... They threw him in there and forgot about him. Like Beerball said: "He deserves every penny." Oh... And God Bless America that he is coming out of it w/a cool 4 mill. Where else on the planet can that happen. Now take your indignance elsewhere... Jeeze, you get riled about the stupidest of sh*t. Best Player Available
The person or persons responsible should be held accountable, fired, charged, and spend some time in the cooler. This kids story is bad, but the guy in Arizona (I believe) who spent years in solitary without any charges against him was even worse. That guy got way more than 4 million. hard to believe this is the USA sometimes.

Chef Jim
https://en.wikipedia...ki/Police_state I've worked with people and have clients that were raised in eastern Europe during the 50's, 60's and 70's. They are very interesting people to talk to and they to a person tell me we have no idea how well we have it here. Hell my father in law wrote a book about his escape as a Jew from Nazi Germany.
