dascottbills28 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Not that it means much this time of year but CBS Sports has their latest power rankings out and Buffalo is near the bottom.... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/22938859/power-rankings
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 As we should be at this point in the "season".
Bronc24 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I can't be upset about where we rank in July after 13 non-playoff seasons. Want to be higher? Win some damn football games.
Best Player Available Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Shocking, the Bills win as paper champs two years in a row. And, still no respect. Maybe, they should play some games and reassess.
DanInUticaTampa Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I agree we should be near bottom, but not below jests and raiders
Clutchwarfare Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I didnt expect to be THAT low. Looking forward to a steady climb to the 22-19 range by late in the season.
jumbalaya Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I didnt expect to be THAT low. Looking forward to a steady climb to the 22-19 range by late in the season. Ahh to achieve mediocrity is our number one goal.
dascottbills28 Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 I agree we should be near bottom, but not below jests and raiders Yea no way on earth the Jets and raiders are better than us..
Clutchwarfare Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Ahh to achieve mediocrity is our number one goal. Ha! Yeah but with a rookie QB and Coach thats a good start. Progress!
Homey D. Clown Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Nobody is going to put Buffalo ahead of other teams simply because of the new coaching staff AND QB situation... I'm actually cool with it. I think it says how bad does Jacksonville have to be to be placed lower than a team with question marks around every single skill position(running back excluded)??? Think about it, the team is ranked exactly where it should be at this point. I'd be more concerned if we were 5-2 heading into the midpoint of the season, and we were ranked 30th...
dollars 2 donuts Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I agree we should be near bottom, but not below jests and raiders Agreed. Even over these 13 years the lowest we have finished is 29th...is that a ringing endorsement? Obviously not. However, I have problems registering this team as the second worst in all of football.
Big C Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Prisco absolutely hated the Manuel pick. That's probably what this comes down to. Oh well. We'll show 'em!

Iraq Vet Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) 0-16.... Would the 1st overall draft pick be so bad. Think about it... would you rather loose all games but have EJ have a building year where he get better every game? or Go Kolb and go 8-8 and turn over the reigns to EJ with a 16th overall pick in 2014? SI.com has us at 26 in the rankings, a much more appropriate spot for us I feel http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130724/nfl-preseason-power-rankings-baltimore-ravens-denver-broncos/?sct=obinsite
San-O Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 SI.com has us at 26 in the rankings, a much more appropriate spot for us I feel http://sportsillustr...s/?sct=obinsite Nice. Thank you. I just can't see this team losing 13-14 games. I also really believe the D is going to be MUCH better, with some added LB help, a new scheme and the new DC, who has had success in that role. The D will help keep this team in games while the offense is more hit and miss. These guys will need to run the some also, and Buffalo can.

Yea with what appears to be better coaching and more weapons on offense along with a qb that can actually throw the ball downfield to open up our run game, I dont see any reason why we cant win around 8 games or so. And who knows, with a few bounces that go our way and a stroke of luck, we could even sneak into the last wildcard spot.
