Just heard on WGR that the Eagles had another Linebacker go down with a torn ACL. (sorry..forgot the name) That'd be 4 Philidelphia Eagles down in training camp with a torn ACL.

Pretty sad....and frustrating I'm sure for their fans.

it makes you wonder if shortening the amount of contact and practices is really beneficial?

It seems that injuries are becoming more and more not less...

If someone has stats to refute, please share?

Do you even have stats to back what your asking to be refuted?

@NFL_ATL

Dustin Keller carted off field for Dolphins. Right knee injury. Did not look good at all.

As a fan of the game of football I really hate hearing this. Thanks for the depressing update, Sir.

Hate injuries. Takes away from the entertainment value when all-pro's go down.

Never pleasant news....Seems to be many more injuries than I remember in previous preseasons.

Unfortunately there's more bad news:

@AdamSchefter

Ambulance on the field to take away Denver DE Derek Wolfe, who is strapped down.

Neck / spinal injury from a helmet to helmet collision. Lets hope he recovers from this.

^^^Good to hear this.^^^

The injury bug hit Cleveland in its pre-season game against Detroit.

The Cleveland Browns won their preseason game Thursday night, but at the expense of several costly injuries. Running back Dion Lewis is out indefinitely with a fractured fibula, rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo was hospitalized with a bruised lung, and offensive guard Jason Pinkston had to be carted off the sideline with a right ankle injury. Any of the three injuries, if proven to be serious, would be a serious blow to the Browns.

Definitely a positive outcome. Thanks for the update.

I really wonder about Barkevious Maybin. I mean Mingo.

6'4" and 240 and he's rail thin. Dion Jordan is really skinny too.

Both of those guys are very gifted but when you see them on an NFL field, you wonder how long they'll last.

Yeesh. I know injuries are part of the game, but it does really suck to hear about players getting seriously hurt, even when they're on other teams.
