Matt in KC
Jamaal Charles carted off the field this morning. Initial tweets = likely not serious.
jaybee
Just heard on WGR that the Eagles had another Linebacker go down with a torn ACL. (sorry..forgot the name) That'd be 4 Philidelphia Eagles down in training camp with a torn ACL. Pretty sad....and frustrating I'm sure for their fans. atlbillsfan1975
it makes you wonder if shortening the amount of contact and practices is really beneficial? It seems that injuries are becoming more and more not less... If someone has stats to refute, please share?

As a fan of the game of football I really hate hearing this. Thanks for the depressing update, Sir. Hate injuries. Takes away from the entertainment value when all-pro's go down. 26CornerBlitz
Unfortunately there's more bad news: @AdamSchefter Ambulance on the field to take away Denver DE Derek Wolfe, who is strapped down.

Neck / spinal injury from a helmet to helmet collision. Lets hope he recovers from this.

Running back Dion Lewis is out indefinitely with a fractured fibula, rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo was hospitalized with a bruised lung, and offensive guard Jason Pinkston had to be carted off the sideline with a right ankle injury. Any of the three injuries, if proven to be serious, would be a serious blow to the Browns. Edited August 18, 2013 by jaybee

San Jose Bills Fan
I really wonder about Barkevious Maybin. I mean Mingo. 6'4" and 240 and he's rail thin. Dion Jordan is really skinny too. Both of those guys are very gifted but when you see them on an NFL field, you wonder how long they'll last.

26CornerBlitz
Keller likely out for year per NFLN bottom line Pretty bad injury: @AdamSchefter Dolphins TE Dustin Keller tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and, as if that weren't enough, dislocated his knee, per source. jimmy10
Yeesh. I know injuries are part of the game, but it does really suck to hear about players getting seriously hurt, even when they're on other teams.
Kemp2Warlick
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter1m MRI showed Titans WR Kendall Wright has a sprained knee, not a torn ACL. Wright is expected to miss the rest of preseason.
