Incredible what a difference Lake Michigan is to Lake Erie... From the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore to western Michigan coast line, beaches are 1000% better. Even beaches right downtown in Chicago are nice. Number one reason, THEY ARE SAND... NO ROCKS. We usually head to places along Lake Erie when visting BFLO and the American shore of Lake Erie is horrible... Rocks galore... The Dunes of Lake Michigan got it all over horrible Lake Erie... Only thing, Lake Michigan is much colder! In BFLO, growing up, I really didn't know how bad we had it! Even BFLO's number one asset, The Lake, kinda sucks when it comes to its beaches (even the Canadian shore can't compare)... Hey isn't there a thread on this (beaches)? Dunes, dunes, dunes!
