WIDE LEFT Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 So we have a brand new head coach, a brand new offensive system, brand new defensive system and a rookie QB. So why are the Bills starting training camp so late? Cowboys, with a veteran QB and same O system start camp on 7/21, we start camp a week later. I hear the Bills coaches talk how important OTA's etc are, but if thats true, why do they give up a whole week of practice and familiarization with new coaches/systems.?
FluffHead Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Cowboys and Dolphins start a week earlier than everyone else because they have the earliest preseason game. There are rules to this stuff per the new CBA
chris heff Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I thought I read some where that rookies report on 7/22, am I wrong about that?

jimmy10 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I bet OP skipped mandatory minicamp too. Can we have a thread about that?
