boyst Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 More impressive than the original? What was the original?
boyst Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Are you serious? I know the Mona Lisa. I thought he meant the original Etch A Sketch...
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I know the Mona Lisa. I thought he meant the original Etch A Sketch... I sure hope you do! That is what I ASLO figured! Post less, think more... Can I believe I am saying that... I am just busting your brahman hump!
Shamrock Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 My kids have 1 each. They love it. Easier to clean than texta & the 20mth old dashes off with it, I'm not worried for the walls or couch.
Chef Jim Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 No eye hand coordination ? Terrible. I've only played drums for 40 plus years.
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Terrible. I've only played drums for 40 plus years. What is your point? Anybody can play drums for 40+ years. "And he's up there, what's that ? Hawaiian noises ? Bangin' on the bongos like a chimpanzee That ain't workin' that's the way you do it..." :-P
DC Tom Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Terrible. I've only played drums for 40 plus years. If that takes hand-eye coordination, you're doing it WAY wrong.
Chef Jim Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 If that takes hand-eye coordination, you're doing it WAY wrong. And of course you'd have no idea what you're talking about.
DC Tom Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 And of course you'd have no idea what you're talking about. No, I don't. After 40+ years, you should be able to close your eyes and play the drums competently.
Chef Jim Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 No, I don't. After 40+ years, you should be able to close your eyes and play the drums competently. And I can of course but there are times when you need to look at what you're doing. Hitting the drum head or a cymbal in just the right spot to get a specific sound is required.
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 And I can of course but there are times when you need to look at what you're doing. Hitting the drum head or a cymbal in just the right spot to get a specific sound is required. Stevie Wonder plays drums. I wonder how he does it?
Chef Jim Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) Stevie Wonder plays drums. I wonder how he does it? He also plays piano. So you're saying because a blind person plays piano it doesn't require hand eye coordination? Edited July 16, 2013 by Chef Jim
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) He also plays piano. So you're saying because a blind person plays piano it doesn't require hand eye coordination? No. Not at all. I am just wondering why you can't hit that very special spot on the cymbal w/your eyes closed... Stevie can. After 40+ years, you think you could find it. Hell, a teenage girl can text behind her back... :-P Edited July 16, 2013 by ExiledInIllinois
