TheMadCap Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 no, not DC Tom Nicola Tesla would have been 157 today!
BuffaloBill Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Thanks, but my birthday was last month. You would need to die as the title is in past tense
Chef Jim Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 And the only one to have a 90's hair band named after him.
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Tesla was bat schit crazy too... Did everything in multiples of threes. Supposedly "married" a pigeon. Then there was his "death ray" that would even make DC Tom jealous. LoL... Quite a dreamer vs. Edison's team of "praticality." Maybe his dreams are coming true afterall? ...There is hope for me after all! ;-) ;-)
San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Smartest? Most brilliant for sure. Anyways, Happy Birthday Nicola. I'm glad to see that the car that bears your name is starting to sell like crazy around here.

boyst Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Was just watching something on him the other day. It is amazing how we know Edison so well, and JP Morgan. But, Westinghouse and Telsa are more like D list compared to JP Morgan and Edison.
DC Tom Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 And the only one to have a 90's hair band named after him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2zwBRa0YhA What about Bon Jovi?

Dante Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 no, not DC Tom Nicola Tesla would have been 157 today! My Ben Franklin trumps your Tesla guy. Now if you would have said "one" of the smartest it would be ok.
ChevyVanMiller Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Great column on Tesla's inventions: http://niagarahub.com/2013/07/08/the-10-inventions-of-nikola-tesla-that-changed-the-world/ His statue on Goat Island...
TheMadCap Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 My Ben Franklin trumps your Tesla guy. Now if you would have said "one" of the smartest it would be ok. Could Franklin invent electric generators and keep the entire design in his head without writing it down or drawing it out?
DC Tom Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Could Franklin invent electric generators and keep the entire design in his head without writing it down or drawing it out? I wouldn't bet against it, frankly.
Beerball Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I wouldn't bet against it, frankly. What about Leonardo?
ChevyVanMiller Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 What about Leonardo? I don't think DiCaprio can do much more than act.
