My favorite saying is "money can't buy you happiness but it can buy you a big ole yacht and you sail riiiiiiiiiight up next to it."

 

But this quote got me.

 

 

Inevitably, there has to be a trend for reducing fuel consumption -- and I think superyachts will have to look something like this in the future. Initially I don't think economics will drive it -- these are wealthy owners and cost isn't an issue. Instead, it will be from an ethical, environmental point of view.

 

 

The best trend to reduce fuel consumption and help the environment? Put some !@#$ing sails on it!!

Pffft...15 mil is chump change compared to these two bad boys that I've seen up close recently while on vaca

Also saw this one although didn't get nearly as close. Was on boat tours for the other two so got within feet. Hard to even fathom the amount of $ it takes simply to maintain them
