This is why you never, ever, ever take one of those "off brand" airlines to the Caribbean. If we're going to Tortola we will fly from LAX or SFO to Miami to Puerto Rico or direct to Puerto Rico and fly from there to Beef Island which is the airport for Tortola. We've never taken a ferry to Tortola. St John yes but never Tortola. Sounds like poor planning on his account.
