Joe Miner
Early stage democracy, like comedy, isn't pretty. Also likely not well thought out and probably doesn't go as planned.

The State Dept. lied about it, then retracted it by saying "Yes, he was on the yacht, but he was working 24/7" right before someone released a photo of Kerry on a kayak. It's like the Democratic 2016 plan is to make every BEG for Hillary to come back.

Koko78
Hey, Romney was a "Vulture Capitalist", deserving to be scorned while Kerry earned his money the hard way. Kerry has to continue to work hard keeping his wife happy to maintain his fortune. He also apparently runs the state dept. or something in his free time. 3rdnlng
Kerry has to continue to work hard keeping his wife happy to maintain his fortune. He also apparently runs the state dept. or something in his free time. He bought a new yacht (well, maybe 4 years ago), one he keeps in RI because the taxes in MA exceed his allowance from Theresa. His negotiating skills are unparalleled. Why should I address Egypt when I'm "cast in irons here"? The Muslim Brotherhood took that as a sign of support while he sniffed the direction of the winds and declared everyone deserved a swift lifeboat. This is what the majority has given us, something far below our true standards. I pray for a new Ronald Reagan, but will settle for someone who will try to be sorta like him. B-Man
Nice, another golf outing. http://www.nytimes.c...od=myyahoo&_r=0 You are mistaken................... Obama signals he WILL be working during his Camp David weekend, with BlackBerry strapped to his belt and a briefing book in hand President Obama spent Friday chilling on the golf course, hitting the links with his close friends, North Carolina Democrat Martin Nesbitt and Dr. Eric Whitaker, a Chicago health expert. After a wild night of fireworks and a performance by indie band fun. at the White House Fourth of July barbecue on the South Lawn, the President opted for a casual look as he departed the executive mansion. Obama´s weekend of relaxation comes as Secretary of State John Kerry has been criticized for taking time away from the office to chill on his yacht in Nantucket, Mass. Though the President will engage in recreational activities, he had his trusty BlackBerry strapped to his belt and a briefing book in hand when he exited the White House, showing that the commander-in-chief never really gets a day off. Keukasmallies
So the rap on FOX news is that it's slanted, so don't watch it...just watch MSNBC, CNN, et. al. Because if you think FOX is slanted toward the conservative point of view, you can be secure in your knowledge that the other (lesser watched) news channels provide coverage of the entire spectrum of news. Well, maybe not so much.... In any event, keep railing against FOX because no one deserves to hear both (all) sides of an issue. Enjoy the MSNBC tunnel vision of the 21st Century. Frankly, Kerry and Obama can stay on vacation for all that I care, but what does it say about this administration that they think that they have to lie about something so basic ? Do they distrust the public opinion that much? Is everything that they do, couched with how it will appear ? Purely rhetorical question of course. Their lack of leadership skills has been apparent since Jan. 2009.....................................shame on all of us for re-electing them. . Well look at the bright side, at least the 2016 presidential campaign between Hillary and Kerry for the Democrat nod will be hysterical, with each of them trying to claim that they were less useless than the other.
