For some strange reason I'm reminded of Ralph Kiner's infamous Father's Day introduction during a Mets broadcast in the mid-80s:

"It's Father's Day here at Shea, and we'd like to wish all of the fathers out there a Happy Birthday!"

Canada Day, July 1st. Is that coincidence that it is so close to the 4th of July? Kinda like 90% of all Canadians living within 100 miles of the US. Boy, if they just want to be the US, they should have said something against the darn Brits in 1776!

:P

J/K... Enjoy...

I was just speaking about this to my parents on Saturday. Funny you brought it up!

Happy Canada Day, Canadian friends.

I was actually born on Father's Day, so this seems perfectly appropriate to me.
