26CornerBlitz Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 How did you get away with starting a new topic about Hernandez? Because this thread is primarily about the Football impact of AH's release vs the legal proceedings.
Never NEVER Give-up Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 He was supposed to be arraigned around 2pm today, where the charges would be revealed. Any news yet???
Doc Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) name any WR that's done anything besides Moss or Welker the Pats have had in the last few years. They use Gronk and Hernandez as their weapons. Now they won't have any. Tom and Bill will find someone to get the ball to. Watch out is all I'm gonna say. Better, more accomplished, and sturdier WR's have played for the Pats and failed. I don't see Jones as bucking that trend. He was an UDFA for the Bills and whatever they got out of him (because of a lack of talent at WR) was gravy, but at best I see maybe 40-50 catches for 600-700 yards and 3-4 TD's. ACor58 Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 UPDATE: Charged with murder and weapons charges! http://live.boston.com/Event/Aaron_Hernandez_arrest_updates
Meark Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 1st charge is murder.. and a bunch of weapons charges..
SBUffalo Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Am I the only one that thinks it's unfair that ESPN has been showing Hernandez' image with the Patriots logo behind it? I understand he's still technically a Patriot until he clears waivers, but they made the move to immediately take away his role as an NFL player. The right move. They should be relieved of consistent association.
Clockwork Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Wow. I felt this coming, but this evidence against him seems extremely damning.
26CornerBlitz Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 1st charge is murder.. and a bunch of weapons charges.. Bye Bye Football Career...Patriots will not easily replace this guy.

eball Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Looks like this topic title needs to become, "Former Pats* TE Hernandez Faces Murder Charge." Damn.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Ok, I'm trying not to be having a little schadenfreude...and utterly failing.

(that said, i didnt see the graphic) Edited June 26, 2013 by NoSaint
