Pete Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I too have heard Moats interviewed and came away very impressed. He is obviously very intelligent and well spoken, and comes across as a great guy
clayboy54 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 In that interview, Moats said Pettine was playing him at Mike LB this year. I wish him the best and hope he does well there.
stony Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Eh, I don't really care. I'd rather cheer for a guy like this who struggles on field than a guy who plays well and gets charged with murder. Well sure, I mean I like quiet conversations with disease free girls rather than all-night benders with supermodels that have herpes too.
marauderswr80 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 He was great with my kids when we met him! Signed tons of autographs and took great pics with them! Great guy!

bills44 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I contacted him about a friend of mine's wife who is struggling with her cancer. The fact that he responded to me multiple times and gave me contact information of someone with the Bills who may be able to help and said that he would follow up with the Bills organization was way more than I expected. Good player, better man. Good stuff from Moats. He represents the franchise well.
Webster Guy Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 always loved the Moats man. he has a great motor and can drive NFL tackles backward, not just an edge rusher with one move like the Maybin's of the world. pettine's defense stresses versatility and speed though, and i'm afraid Arthur might get left behind this year in favor of better coverage guys. i always wondered how he would do if they put 15 pounds of muscle on his 250 pound frame him and played him at DE as a third down specialist.

And I am sure he will give nothing away to the media. So i do expect some roster surprises . if Arthur doesn't stick here he could well get picked up before the season starts . I wish he could step up and take a postion away but i think his competition is White who is pretty decent in special teams and i am not sure even he will make the final count. But .. Go Arthur !
purple haze Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 team. You just don't see enough of this. I'm glad he was impressive. But he's far from the only one. Most professional athletes don't get in trouble. We just hear about the percentage that do b/c it sells more mags, increases hits on websites and makes people tune in.
