Chef Jim Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I loved how "This is Spinal Tap" paid tribute to the Grateful Dead keyboardists by way of their drummers. "Well we're not sure whose vomit he choked on. You can't dust for vomit."
San Jose Bills Fan Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 "Well we're not sure whose vomit he choked on. You can't dust for vomit." Classic! Wall to wall hilarity.
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) The Blackberries, aka Humble Pie's backup singers; Venetta Fields, Clydie King and Sherlie Matthews. Venetta was born in Buffalo, and all three ladies sang with many famous bands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqsMKvkzdwc Edited June 24, 2013 by In-A-Gadda-Levitre
The Poojer Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 agree 100%...brent was absolutely amazing on that song, for those not familiar.... I would not really consider Brent a backup singer. I would however consider him by far the best keyboardist the Dead ever had. Look up his performance of Blow Away at JFK in Philadelphia in July 1989. Absolutely fantastic!

Jauronimo Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 With all you big time Rush fans I'm surprised no one has mentioned Geddy Lee.
The Poojer Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Jessie Wagner, Kid Rock's back up singer...don't know if she sings well or not...don't care either

bbb Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Cindy mizelle before lisa fisher There's a video on youtube of the epic "possible last ever" and what turned out to be Clarence Clemons' last concert ever with Bruce and the ESB - 11/22/09 in Buffalo. Tickets were going for $500 because of the hype and 22 private jets with Hollywood stars, etc. flew into Prior Aviation that Sunday.................Anyway, the video is Cindy and Bruce singing right in front of me on the 2nd stage. She's still touring with the band right now.
