major Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I still remember his horrific injury and recovery. Anyone know what he's doing now?
PromoTheRobot Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) While he can walk he is not 100%. He still has lingering affects from the injury Another story from a year ago. PTR Edited June 19, 2013 by PromoTheRobot
major Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Thanks for the article promo. I still wear his jersey from time to time. Sounds like a classy guy that has a strong faith in god. Great example
bbb Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 The day he moved his arms and legs for the first time was awesome:
Buftex Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I still remember his horrific injury and recovery. Anyone know what he's doing now? As I recall, what made Kevin's injury so "horrific" was the fact that it was such a run of the mill play, and looked like nothing really...but it caused so much damage.
marauderswr80 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 That kickoff happen right in front of me....when he got hit, my dad turned to me and said...son he may not live. I highly recommend his book! Great read! God bless him!
billsfan89 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I hope he is doing well, seemed like he didn't let his career and health (To a certain extent) being taken away take his life away as well.
Mark Vader Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 As I recall, what made Kevin's injury so "horrific" was the fact that it was such a run of the mill play, and looked like nothing really...but it caused so much damage. Exactly. That was the same situation for Mike Utley.
wonderbread Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 The day he moved his arms and legs for the first time was awesome: Hahaha. Hilarious. I saw the picture and thought "wow he must have really enjoyed that hospital food."
CSBill Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 That kickoff happen right in front of me....when he got hit, my dad turned to me and said...son he may not live. I highly recommend his book! Great read! God bless him! yes it is, I second that recommendation
bbb Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Hahaha. Hilarious. I saw the picture and thought "wow he must have really enjoyed that hospital food." I was thinking this had to be done on purpose by whoever rolls the tape, to mess with the sports guy. What are the odds of that not being done on purpose?!?
RevWarRifleman Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 God bless Kevin Everett and I wish him & his family well.
Gugny Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Exactly. That was the same situation for Mike Utley. And Dale Earnhardt. That crash was not nearly as bad as many others, where drivers exited their vehicles without a scratch.
