State Department cover ups also include prostitution...

Recommended Posts

If you don't mind, I'm going to post this here. It's just another minor scandal:

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/26/us/farm-loan-bias-claims-often-unsupported-cost-us-millions.html?pagewanted=all

Of course there's also the minor scandal of the HHS Secretary shaking down the companies she regulates.

Maybe you might want to change your thread title to something alsong the lines of: "Post your serious but not monumental, miscellaneous scandal here".

Naaaaaa...IMO every scandal should be deserving of it's own thread. Granted they all vary somewhat on the outrage meter, but I think people need to see the laundry list of real live scandals. In case they still believe in the "hope and change" message. The "yes we can" people should be ok with what's going on though.

A few notes..

If you're looking to hire a bunch of guys who are willing to jump in front of a moving bullet for you, you should care less what they do for fun.

OTOH, if your ambassador is the one looking for fun, it's a whole different issue.

PS - This is a lot of stuff being thrown at Bill's wife's feet. Can't keep the big dog down that long before he starts barking.

Puts me in mind to ask...

Where'd the old "$800 hammer" ever go to?

Some guy who had recently purchased some land borrowed it and then lent it to another guy, without risk mind you, who built a house. After 3 years of earning indefinite interest from his land and the surplus capital realized from loaning out the hammer again and again, that same man owned the entire city. I heard he's planning a start-up, multi-national bicycle conglomerate next. He still can't get a date though.

Did he pay for the land with labor?

Hill’s distr@ct act

  • By MICHAEL GOODWIN

Did you hear the big news? Hillary’s on Twitter. Yep, she went live at noon Monday, making jokes about her hair and pantsuits and, according to one breathless report, “fueling speculation” that she’ll run for president by saying her future job is “TBD”— to be determined.

Bill and Chelsea chipped in, too. OMG, stop the presses!

There was another bit of breaking Clinton news that same day, but nothing nearly as important.

It seems there were some hooker scandals at the State Department during her watch, and that one of our ambassadors also has a sick fondness for other people’s children.

But all the investigations got quashed by higher-ups, according to an agency report, so it’s almost like they never happened.

In fact, as far as most of the news media are concerned, they never did happen.

The timing of the two news developments could be an amazing coincidence, or you could remember Rule No. 1 about the Clintons: There are no coincidences.

As Hillary herself once said about things too odd to be true, “If you find a turtle on a fence post, it didn’t get there by itself.”

You could say the same about her being on Twitter just as the sordid sex revelations were breaking. She didn’t start tweeting out of the blue.

The whistleblower ratting out the dirty diplos and her lawyer are charging “coverup” and seem to be on solid ground. Aurelia Fedenisn, a former senior inspector in the State Department, produced notes of higher-ups removing all the troubling accusations from official reports.

One probe reportedly got quashed by Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills. That could also be an amazing coincidence — Mills earlier was accused by a Benghazi whistleblower of retaliating against him for talking to congressional investigators about the terrorist attack.

If both claims are true, Mills has a nasty habit of freelancing, or she deserves her reputation as Hillary’s enforcer.

Either way, the Clinton 2016 presidential quest is off to a rocky start. During her tenure, our Libyan ambassador was murdered, the first American diplomat killed in more than 30 years. And it happened on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, a day that should automatically lead to increased security, not less.

Clinton’s congressional testimony on the attack was noteworthy only for her testy outburst of “What difference at this point does it make?” That was her answer about why she falsely blamed the whole thing on an anti-Muslim video.

Then it emerged that her spokesperson argued against any mention of terrorism in the administration talking points, saying it was necessary to satisfy “my building’s leadership.” Now, who could she mean by that?

But in the celebrity culture world where Clinton mostly lives, none of it matters. She is famous for being famous, a “great” secretary of state whose greatness is asserted as fact despite an actual record that is mediocre at best.

She spent four years flying around the globe, but I’m still waiting to learn of a single significant country she converted from adversary to friend. I’ll lower the bar and settle for an insignificant country she helped move into our column.

There aren’t any, large or small, important or not. Nor are there any big ideas or doctrines that would qualify as a legacy vision.

There was just her, traveling and waving and, now it appears, working hard to keep the lid on anything that would make her look bad.

It doesn’t matter, that’s all history. Besides, did you hear? Hillary’s on Twitter!

New State Department scandal: Whistleblower accuses consul general of trysts with subordinates and hookers

In the latest black eye for the scandal-ridden State Department, a whistleblower claims she was run out of the foreign service after complaining about a consul general’s alleged office trysts with subordinates and hookers.

Kerry Howard says she was bullied, harassed and forced to resign after she exposed US Consul General Donald Moore’s alleged security-threatening shenanigans in the Naples, Italy, office.

As the post’s community-liaison officer, Howard was charged with keeping workplace peace and advising higher-ups on the state of morale, but when she revealed allegations about her boss, State Department officials swept it under the rug, according to an Equal Employment Opportunity complaint she filed with the department’s Office of Civil Rights.

It’s cover-up after cover-up. It’s absolutely hideous,” she told The Post. “When our diplomats disrespect the Italians by hiring and firing them because they have seen too much — or use them for ‘sex-ercise’ — we have to question why we have diplomats abroad at taxpayer expense.”

Howard is just the latest whistleblower to allege that Hillary Rodham Clinton’s State Department allowed sexual misbehavior to continue unchecked.

Funny article from Daily Caller.

Hillary Clinton: Alex Jones in a pantsuit.

Back in 1998 when it came out that her husband was doing some hardcore, Presidential-level chubby chasing, Hillary knew that it went much deeper (no pun intended). This wasn’t a simple case of an old perv doing what old pervs do, it was a vast rightwing conspiracy.

The conspiracy against her husband reached so far that even her husband was in on it. Trust no one. A few years later, as a Senator after 9/11, she had a golden opportunity and platform to get the truth out. In 2002, on the Senate floor, she trumpeted the New York Post’s truther headline “Bush Knew”.

Then, on the floor of the United States Senate, she actually goes into the conspiracy theory that John Ashcroft stopped flying commercial because he knew the attack was coming. This is a conspiracy theory so flimsy that even Michael Moore decided to cut it from his fat 9/11 conspiracy movie. This is trutherism reaching critical mass. She even uses the excuse that’s on page one of the conspiracy theorist manual: “I’m just asking questions”. That phrase is probably on the homepage banner of Info Wars, but I’m too lazy to check.

Flash forward to 2008, Clinton is in a heated primary battle with Barack Obama. Naturally, Mrs. Clinton assumed that Mr. Obama had a fake birth certificate, was born in Kenya, and his mother snuck him into the country to register his birth and planted fake birth announcements in local newspapers. Yes, Hillary Clinton is the mother of the birther movement. From The Telegraph’s 2011 article, Birther row began with Hillary Clinton:

An anonymous email circulated by supporters of Mrs Clinton, Mr Obama’s main rival for the party’s nomination, thrust a new allegation into the national spotlight — that he had not been born in Hawaii.

“Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy,” it said. “She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth.” Then in August 2008 Phil Berg, an ex-deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania and a renowned conspiracy theorist, filed a lawsuit alleging that Mr Obama was ineligible to be a candidate.

Mercy.

Don't look over your shoulder, Hillary.

Something is gaining on you.

Trail of Benghazi security lapses leads to State Department senior leadership, records show

The decision to keep U.S. personnel in Benghazi with substandard security was made at the highest levels of the State Department by officials who have so far escaped blame over the Sept. 11 attack, according to a review of recent congressional testimony and internal State Department memos by Fox News.
