freester Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 I think we could draft Heath Miller from VA. He is the top rated TE available. Neufeld is a free agent and campbell and euhus both have major knee injuries.
OnTheRocks Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 if Campbell doesn't recover from his knee injury, I would suggest his contract ends somewhere around June 1st.
OnTheRocks Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 and regardless of Campbell's health...i think TE is the biggest need on the Bills. the problem as i see it is the talent coming out is thin, and the talent in FA is a bit old....considering the price that would have to be paid for those guys who will be available.

Josh Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Unless Campbell cannot heal fast enough over the offseason, I wouldn't look for the coaching staff to give Tom the go ahead to search for a new starting Tight End. Mularkey loves Campbell and praises him every chance he gets as a "blue collar, hard working, physical football player." That's the same definition that players and coaches gave Mularkey when he played. Chances are there will be a new one on the depth chart, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Campbell back as the starter.
