Cinga Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 So, if their armed forces are only to be used in defense, why are they practicing amphibious landings? Japan is obviously a series of islands, so an attack on them, would most likely start there. Do defend it, you have to be able to fight off the attacker with a larger or at least better force. Since their own military is stretched across all the islands, they have to have a way to send in support.... As Tom said, by sea is the best way for this...
