scribo Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Sorry if this has already been posted, but it cannot be said enough anyway. Ralph Wilson Jr. once again will not be enshired in the Football Hall of Fame this year. Link Dan Marino, Steve Young and Michael Irvin are among 15 finalists. Hey voters, :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
Rubes Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Michael Irvin in the Hall of Fame, and no Ralph Wilson. Yep, that'll just about do it for me.
OnTheRocks Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 who did he piss off so badly??? this is a joke.
Rico Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Charles Haley got robbed. No Boomer Esiason either...doesn't look good for Drew.
Tux of Borg Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 I just read that myself. George Young is more deserving than Ralph? :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Vote him in while he is still alive jackasses!
scribo Posted January 11, 2005 Author Posted January 11, 2005 who did he piss off so badly??? this is a joke. 201467 It is worse than a joke. There would be no NFL today without Ralph Wilson. I cannot think of anyone more deserving.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 What a load of crap. Hey Al Davis...Hey Patriots...why dont you both grow some balls and stand up for the guy who kept both of your teams in business?
scribo Posted January 11, 2005 Author Posted January 11, 2005 What a load of crap. Hey Al Davis...Hey Patriots...why dont you both grow some balls and stand up for the guy who kept both of your teams in business? 201480 Include the stinkin' Fish in there. No Dolfins anymore if it wasn't for Mr. Wilson.
Mark VI Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Bob Kuechenberg :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
stevestojan Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Michael Irvin? Are you frigging kidding me?
Rico Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Bob Kuechenberg :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: 201489 That's OK, he won't get in....again.
BillsNYC Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Michael Irvin and no RW.... I'm sorry....I just can't get over that...
Mike32282 Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: All you !@#$ing voters who don't realize how much Ralph Wilson DESERVES to be in the Hall of Fame.
Like A Mofo Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Charles Haley got robbed. I agree, Haley was robbed and is underrated... In his rookie season, Haley led the 49ers in sacks with 12.0 and finished second to Leslie O’Neal (12.5) for sacks by a rookie. The 12.0 sacks in 1986 marked the first of six seasons in which Haley recorded double-digit sack totals, doing so again in 1988 (11.5), 1989 (10.5), 1990 (16.0), 1994 (12.5) and 1995 (10.5). His 16 sacks in 1990 were a career best and led the NFC.
Like A Mofo Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Michael Irvin and no RW.... I'm sorry....I just can't get over that... 201504 If only RW was as brash and much of a punk as Michael Irvin is, E$PN would crusade for RW to get into the HOF.
duey Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 I just read that myself. George Young is more deserving than Ralph? :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Vote him in while he is still alive jackasses! 201469 Well, that's it exactly. Just as with George Young, unfortunately they LOVE handing these things out posthumously. Makes it all so much more emotional, you know.
stevestojan Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Let's try this again: http://www.ralphwilsonhof.com/ maybe next year.
stevestojan Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 No Kent Hall either. 201515 or the equally talented Kent Hull!
Toledo Bill Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 No Kent Hall either. 201515 I couldn't agree more about Kent Hull. How many All-Pro teams did he make? That would probably impact the idiot voters. I think he was the greatest, but I am curious about the recognition he may have received while playing.
