No, I said the top three on the list were cancelled.  Pissed me off too. :w00t:  My wife did buy me the DVD though, and there are a couple of unaired episodes on it (that i havn't watched yet).

If by teenage girl you mean "enjoy well written, well acted TV shows as opposed to most of the tripe on nowadays," then the answer would be yes. :w00t:

You make that comment to me, yet list Emerill Live as one of the top five shows? :w00t:  Ok... ;)

If you SERIOUSLY believe that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was well written and well acted, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

I have season passes for:

CSI

CSI:NY

Law and Order (still waiting for them to dig deeper into Furina's character...)

Amazing Race (can't wait 'til Jonathan and Devil Boy are left watching)

Enterprise (just picked this up at the end of last season)

Battlestar Galactica (the new one just starting...saw the "pilot" as it originally aired, and it looks promising)

This is why I'm worried about Boston Legal. Only you and myself have mentioned it so far. I hope ABC doesn't cancel the show because they probably don't get the ratings they deserve. I've converted five people to watch this show and once they've seen it, they all can't get enough. As I mentioned before, out of all the shows out there, this one is heads and shoulders above the rest.

I'm guessing you never actually *watched* the show, and are basing your comments on either the movie (which was terrible) or the title.

Critics and fans alike agree that Buffy is one of the best written shows on television.

and

According to VH1.com, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer will be featured in it's mini-series I Love the 90s Part Deux that starts Jan. 17 and runs for 5 days as they look back on the decade for a second go-around (I Love the 90's), as Buffy the Vampire Slayer being one of the few shows to stand out in the 90's.

and

Starting Dec 30, Bravo is having a five day special on The 100 Greatest TV Characters. Buffy is number 13.

But yeah, the show sucked :w00t:

Oh, I also REALLY like "Good Eats" on the Food Network.

Its the ONLY show on that network that makes EVERYDAY foods - things REAL people could and would make.

It showed me how to make the BEST baby back ribs ever. Oh man, were those good. And the host is entertaining.

1. Pardon The Interruption

Honorable mention: Survivor, American Idol, Littlest Groom :w00t: .

can't think of any other current or semi-current shows that I watch (when aired) on a regular basis... love Sopranos & 24 on DVD.

Also, I'll sometimes watch Trading Spaces if Paige Davis is wearing a really tight t-shirt (which is every episode).

someone else not afraid to admit they watch the OC!

Never saw the first season, but I quietly enjoyed a few episodes of the OC up until a couple weeks ago when the whole "my father-in-law slept with your Aunt so technically we're sisters" quasi-incest thing confused the heck out of me and was quite boring to boot.

1. Simpsons

2. Curb Your Enthusiasm (glad I'm not the only one)

3. Seinfeld reruns

4. Real World (watching these losers makes me feel better about myself)

Posted

1. Deadwood (Only have to watch on my list, don't watch too much TV)

2. Without a Trace

3. The Shield

4. Little Britain (comedy)

5. Spooks (spy drama)

At least in the UK we tend to only get the best of your TV, our own sucks as far as drama/comedy goes.
