Just heard someone bitching on the radio that it's the Republicans fault that the bridge wasn't built to standard because it was built to the standard that was in place when the bridge was built.

The Highway Trust Fund: "The fund gets its revenue primarily from federal gas and diesel taxes. It not only !@#$s up engines, causes world-wide food shortages but reduces mpg, thus causing more taxes.
